Insert simcard is commonly when your phone are dropping at many times and somtimes by changing the simcamd frequently by another sim, so to avoid this kind of trouble please take good care of your phone and use one simcard at a time.

Basic Troubleshooting for No Display

No display from the LCD, this kind of term is sometimes are miss called by dead set because No Display is sound like Dead set, so we better be careful to understand what really it is. so okay here are some common troubleshooting about this matter. for some of you are newbie i will show you the image of LCD.

Basic Troubleshooting for Keypad Malfunction

Keypad malfunction is commonly cause by water damage of just a little bit water and all of the line of keypad are destroyed, to repair this kind of trouble, we must open whole cellphone and try to clean the keypad mat just like this image.

Basic Troubleshooting for No Voices

Voices and Tones are devided by outgoing , incoming and ringtones.
so lets find it how it works and finding out the problem


1. No incoming voices- when someone is calling and when you try to answer it, no sound on the caller but your voices is to loud on the caller tones. and the problem is your earpiece or speaker, try replace with the new one.

2. No Outgoing Voices - when someone is calling and when you try to answer it, you can hear what he/she says but when you answer it he/she can't hear you anymore. and the problem is your mouthpiece or microphone, try replace with the new one.

3. No RingTones / AlertTones - when someone is calling you, you can't hear anything from your phone. the problem is your Buzzer. try replace with the new one.

Basic Troubleshooting for Dead set / Dead phone

Troubleshooting on dead phone is a lot of possible solution, so we must identify first how was this happen on the phone whether it was suddenly or something happen. Okay lets do the rock!...

How to Troubleshoot the Dead Phone:

- check the power switch or power on button if it is broken or try replace with a new one.
- check the battery if it is fully loaded or try replace with a new one.
- check the battery terminal by using tester, connect the -/+ of the tester to the -/+ of the
terminal. if it is moving then the terminal is Good.
- check if the program is dead by checking to the computer.

If the phone is Water Damage, then wash it with thinner and brush all the way, dry it and try it. or below is the other way to fix water damage by covering it in plastic ware with rice.

How to Open-line

Openline is Commonly term Unlock witch it means Unlock all block network on the Unit.
unlocking unit is needed for the user to change the network provider on their choice.

so this is the common step to Unlock the Phone. and still we use the sarasoft aplication.

1. Connect box and make sure it is completely driver installed to run properly.
2. Open sarasoft application "dctxbb5" and connect the phone
3. Click connect at the upper left
4. Select category if it is dct4, dct3, bb5 etc...
5. Check the box
-full ui defaults
-ui factory defaults
-full factory defaults
-Reset user locks
-init simlocks
6.click UI setting upper center side
7. after done... your phone is now Unlock or Openline

How to Re-format /Re-program

Before we start our lesson on programing, we must choose our box and software to be use.
on our tutorial system I strongly recommended to use Ufs3 box gadget (I've never promoting this product) due to common on the market.

Okay let's do it!....

1. Connect box and make sure it is completely driver installed to run properly.
2. Open sarasoft application "dctxbb5"
3. Click connect at the upper left
4. Select category if it is dct4, dct3, bb5 etc...
5. Select mcu and ppm (you must provide your mcu+ppm or download it on internet)
6. Click Flash or start to begin the flashing system and after done it is Finnish.
